Samsung Series 7 LED TVs
This week had an exciting moment for me in seeing the unwrapping of a much anticipated new product: the Samsung Series 7 LED TV, specifically the UE40B7020WW.
LED back-lit LCD TVs have one major advantage: super high contrast – where black is really black, so black in fact that I completely failed to tell the difference between the black of the bezel and the black of the screen. Colours are fantastically vibrant too and the speed of display is more than quick enough for sports or even fast paced action games.
Combine the best qualities of a plasma with the best of LCD technology, add a new breed of LED back-lighting to the mix and you end up with a super slim TV with the most amazing picture quality that High Definition (HD) has to offer.
All this one may ponder would have to come at an extortionate cost, and you will be surprised to know that the 40″ version can be had for less than £2,000.
